We want to hear from you
Feedback, good or bad, helps us improve care for patients and families. You can share a compliment, a suggestion or a concern at any time. Registered patients can also give private feedback in the patient portal, and after a visit we may send a short private feedback invitation if you agreed to receive one.
How to give feedback or make a complaint
- In person: speak to reception, or ask to talk to a senior member of staff.
- By phone: call the number on our contact page.
- In writing: send a letter or an email to the address on our contact page.
It helps if you tell us what happened, when and where, who was involved and what you would like us to do. You do not need to use any particular words or form, and you can write in Bangla or English.
Complaining on someone else's behalf
You can raise a concern for someone else, such as a family member. We will need their consent to discuss their care with you, unless you are the parent or legal guardian of a patient under 18, or the law otherwise allows it.
If something is urgent
If your concern is about someone's safety right now, please tell a member of staff straight away instead of waiting. If someone's life is in danger, call 999 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Your privacy
Complaints are handled privately and discussed only with the people who need to know in order to resolve them. Complaint records are kept separately from medical records.
Your care will not be affected
Making a complaint will never affect your care, your appointments or the way you are treated. If you feel that it has, please tell us straight away.
Reviews and social media
We never confirm or discuss anyone's care in public, including in replies to online reviews or social media posts. If you raise a concern there, we will ask you to contact us privately so that we can help.
If you are not satisfied with our response
You can ask centre management to review how your complaint was handled. You can also go outside the centre:
- About a doctor's professional conduct: the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), which registers doctors in Bangladesh.
- About the treatment of a person with a mental illness: a guardian or relative can apply to the district Mental Health Review and Monitoring Committee set up under the Mental Health Act, 2018.
- About how your personal information is used: our privacy and confidentiality notice explains your rights and options.
If you ask, we will tell you how to contact these bodies.
How we learn from feedback
We review complaints and feedback regularly to find patterns and improve our services. We share the lessons with our team without identifying anyone.
