These terms apply to everyone who uses drmrsiddiquepsychiatrycentre.com, in English or Bangla, including online booking, “My booking”, our forms and the patient portal. The website is run by Dr. MR Siddique Psychiatry Centre in Dhaka. By using the website you accept these terms; if you do not agree with them, please do not use it. Our privacy and confidentiality notice explains how we handle personal information.

Health information is not medical advice

The information on this website is general. It cannot take account of your own history or circumstances, so it is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a substitute for seeing a qualified professional. Self-checks are not tests. Please read our medical disclaimer before acting on anything you read here.

Not an emergency service

Online booking, our forms, email, WhatsApp and social media are not monitored for emergencies. Our crisis help page explains what to do right now.

Accuracy and updates

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date. Health pages are written and reviewed under our editorial policy, and each reviewed page shows when it was last checked. Medical knowledge and practice change, so some information may become out of date between reviews. Fees, opening hours and clinicians' availability can also change; the booking form and our fees page show the current details. If you find a mistake, please tell us through our contact page.

Online booking

Online booking is covered by our booking terms, which explain confirmation, fees, cancellation and online consultations. When you book, please:

  • give correct details for the patient, and book for someone else only if they know about the appointment;
  • do not make bookings you do not intend to keep, or bookings in someone else's name without their agreement;
  • cancel if you cannot come, so that someone else can use the time.

We may limit or cancel bookings that appear to be false, automated or abusive.

The patient portal

If you have a patient portal account:

  • keep your password private and do not let anyone else sign in as you;
  • sign out after using a shared phone or computer;
  • tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account;
  • open only the records you are entitled to see — a family member may use the portal for another person only with that person's authorisation, or as their parent or legal guardian.

We may suspend access to an account to protect the records in it.

Using the website responsibly

You must not:

  • use the website for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or deceive anyone;
  • try to get into records, accounts or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the website's security or working;
  • send false information, spam or harmful code, or use automated tools to copy content or submit forms;
  • send us other people's personal or health information without their permission.

Content and intellectual property

The text, design, logo and other material on this website belong to Dr. MR Siddique Psychiatry Centre or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use, as long as you do not change them and you credit the centre, ideally with a link to the original page. Please ask us before copying our content for any other purpose. Our name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse a product, service or person.
